Claim: The Gospel of Barnabas is a lost ‘true gospel’ suppressed by the church.

Why it’s false:  Scholars universally date the so-called Gospel of Barnabas to the Middle Ages, influenced by late Islamic theology. It has no connection to the first century and contains numerous anachronisms.
